- Micro-stippled perimeter: Fine textured bumps encircle the edges and stone settings, enhancing light reflection and visual intricacy.
- Convex dome accents: Two sizes of raised circular domes on the interior base create a mesmerizing, texturized pattern.

📅 Era: Early 1980s, pre-heirloom stamp era
✨ Condition: Excellent vintage condition — preserved with care and ready to wear or display.
🕊️ Symbolism Rooted in Faith
This pendant’s design echoes the Armenian Cross, a sacred symbol in one of the world’s oldest Christian traditions. Armenia adopted Christianity as its state religion in 301 AD, and its crosses — often adorned with floral motifs and sunbursts — represent Christ’s resurrection, eternal life, and divine light. Armenian crosses were also believed to offer protection and healing, often carved into khachkars (stone crosses) placed at sacred sites.
The pendant also shares traits with the Celtic Cross, which emerged in Ireland and Britain between the 5th and 9th centuries. Its ringed design and intricate patterns symbolize eternity, unity of heaven and earth, and Christ’s halo. Though rooted in Christian theology, the Celtic Cross also served as a bridge between pagan and Christian beliefs, helping early missionaries convert local populations.
Both styles are embraced across Christian and Catholic traditions, with the Armenian Cross often found in Eastern Orthodox and Apostolic churches, and the Celtic Cross widely used in Catholic, Anglican, and Protestant communities.
This pendant is more than jewelry — it’s a spiritual heirloom, a fusion of ancient symbolism and vintage craftsmanship. Whether worn as a personal token of faith or displayed as a collector’s piece, it carries the enduring legacy of Christian devotion and artistic heritage.
